Online Service-HsinChu County Police Bureau

The Police Criminal Record Certificate is issued by the Police force to show an applicant’s criminal history, if there is any. Persons who are or have been domiciled in Taiwan will be eligible applicants.

Required Documents for Collection

A: Identity Documents

ROC Citizens: The original and one copy of ID card or the original household certificate. If the English version is needed, please present one copy of passport (including the page with English name).

Foreign Nationals: The original and one copy of passport, the ARC（if they are/were the ARC holders）or other documents for verification.

B: Processing Fee

The fee is NT$100 for each certificate.

Notes for Online Applications:

A: It takes 2.5 working days to issue a certificate. However, it may take longer if court inquiries are required.

B: According to the Act Governing Issuance of Police Criminal Record Certificates, Police Records will not be issued to applicants who remain on a wanted list or whose prison sentences haven’t been served or are being served.

C: Regarding information on pick-up-records and payment for a processing fee, please check with the police agency in charge; if an application is made by a proxy, an authorization letter must be submitted (original only). Personal ID of the proxy is required when picking up a certificate.

D: For online applicants, please pick up your certificate and pay the processing fee at the foreign affairs section service counter of the police agency in charge within the next 30 days from the third day of application. Applicants and proxies (if applicable) should present proof of identity for verification while picking up certificates. The application will be declared void if the applicant fails to pick up the record before the deadline.

E: If you find errors in your application after clicking the submit button, please key in the correct information and submit it again.
