What’s the 113 Children and Women Protection Hotline?
It is recognized by the Taiwan government that children and women could be vulnerable under certain conditions. In order to improve the personal safety of women and children the 113 hotline and its online service (SOCIAL SAFETY NET-ECARE ) is therefore provided by Ministry of Health and Welfare (Ministry of Health and Welfare) in association with World Vision in Taiwan (https://www.worldvision.org.tw/ ). The 113 hotline is run at a 24/7 basis to provide services all year round and is toll-free regardless whether the call is made from a cell phone, landline or pay phone. You can also call at 110 to contact the local police if needed. The service is mainly provided in Chinese. Please contact us if you need assistance.

Therefore a male person can also use 113 Hotline service to seek for advice or help. There is also a counseling Hotline for male persons provided by Ministry of Interior in association with Taiwanese Association of Read and Social Care at 0800-013-999.
