What’s 165 hotline and its Operating Group?
165 Anti Fraud and Internet Scam Operation Group is a national reporting center for fraud and internet scam where you should report fraud if you have been scammed, defrauded or experienced internet scam.
We provide a central point of contact for information about fraud and financially motivated internet scam. People are scammed, ripped off or conned everyday and we want this to stop.
The service is run by the Criminal Investigation Bureau who are responsible for assessment of the reports and to ensure that your fraud reports reach the right place.
How to Report Fraud and Internet Scam?
You can report fraud or internet crime using our online reporting service (https://165.npa.gov.tw/#/report/statement) any time of the day or night; the service enables you to both report a fraud and find help and support. We also provide help and advice over the phone. You can talk to our fraud and internet scam specialists by calling 165. In case of an online phishing, you can also report it at Anti-Phishing Report Notification Window
When you report to us you will receive a police crime reference number which you can see the follow-ups of your case by click here.
The service provided by 165 and Criminal Investigation Bureau may only be available in Chinese. Please contact us if you need assistance.
What Should I do When My Account of Social Media Get Hacked?
