Q:What should I do if I have a car accident in Taiwan?
A: You should stay calm and ensure your personal safety by going to the roadsides. Don not move the vehicles if possible and call the emergency hotline at 110 and notify the police officers of the location of the accident and provide details of any injuries that have been sustained by the occupents of the vehicle, if there’s any. After the officers have arrived please explain how did the accident happen and follow the instructions given by the officers. |

Q:What should I do if one of my friends is missing in Taiwan?
A: In the case that your missing friend is a foreign national, including a person from mainland China, you need to report to the nearest service center of National Immigration Agency. Otherwise, If your missing friend is a Taiwanese citizen, you can file a missing person report at the nearest police authority, especially the police station where the missing case takes place. Your report will be accepted immediately with the message spread out nation-wide for search and support. Please bring along identity certificates /proofs of the informant and the missing person and photos of the missing person, if possible. |
